About Us
WERA&NICK is a fresh alternative duo based in Athens.
They’re diving into spacy sounds with a flavor of indie rock.
Their dynamic is based on their loopers with the combo of a cello, a guitar and percussions,
letting you have a smooth joy through their voices and melodies.

They have already published their first single called SAILOR and during 2022 their first album it’s gonna be released in all the digital platforms. Beside the fact that they love to create their own music, they are making also covers , transforming them into their aesthetic.

Last but not least their goal is to translate their love and their passion through music and like this motivate each other to enjoy fully the moments of life.
NICK
Nikolas Yiakoumis started his professional career in music in 2009. Based in Athens and declares himself as a multi instrumentalist, as love for instruments made him learn many different.
He is one of the founding members of the band "Road Duck" (guitar, vocals ) and guitarist of the band "Vlastur".
He is the producer of the Hip hop band "Twinsanity".
Musician has also his personal career as a producer known as "invisible sounds" with already released vinyl from "Melting records"
As a bass music lover, Nikolas actively participates in the Sound System culture of Greece and is a member of the
"Elpaso Soundsystem" making and organizing parties all over Greece.
The latest project that Nick created, called
"Wera & Nick" where he takes care of the guitar, vocals and percussions.
From 2009 until now he hasn’t stop having gigs in Greece and abroad in great worldwide festivals.
He has colaborate with many different artists from different music genres as a musician, as a producer, dj and ghostwriter.
Last but not least he enjoy a lot to perform as a dj in many different events around Greece. He plays mostly afro house, dub, trip hop, reggae and tribal grooves.
Nick loves to combine sounds from many different musical influences and he is passionate with whatever will make him feel creative!
WERA
Weronika Amelia Kijewska is a polish composer, cellist, singer, bassist known as WERA, currently living in Athens, member of duo Wera&Nick and Road Duck band.
She is a winner of the 7th national polish competition
WSCHODY festival. She has been playing for many years around Europe.
Her journey as a musician began at the age of seven, taking cello classes at the Stanislaw Moniuszko music school. She passed through a high school with a mathematic profile, but in the end she got education in history of art and culture studies.
In her solo project she loves to create collages of sounds by building them based on the looper, samples and her voice.
As she was a member of many different projects she likes to experiment with different sounds and exploring the possibility of the cello.
Mostly in love with indie rock, jazz, folk and classical music.
Weronika wants to discover the whole world by playing music in many different countries, her big goal as well, is to create compositions for films and theater plays.
Influenced by nature, new and undiscovered things , light&dark and people with passion.
Wera takes you sometimes on a dreamy journey, and sometimes on a stormy lands full of dynamic beats and layers of spacy sounds.
